Custom editing, DVD slide shows,

photo restoration and more

I have a passion for old film, photo’s and history in general. When I started researching film conversion techniques, it was very confusing! There were so many horror stories and warnings about doing it this way or that way. One outfit or another was always making claims of how much better quality their product was. Finally I got fed up with procrastinating and worrying. I transferred the film with a pretty basic technique and then converted it to DVD. When I started to watch it,  I soon forgot all my worries and just enjoyed watching some amazing film I had not seen in many years…and some I had never seen. The video above is my parent’s wedding! I arranged a family get together and showed everyone the videos. They were mesmerized. We laughed a lot, cried a lot and laughed some more that day.

What I learned from this experience was that old film will never be High Definition no matter how hard you try. It doesn’t really matter though. What is important is the experience you will have when you see your film/video/slides…after so many years.

If you’re looking for professional 8mm/16mm  film transferring at the best possible quality, you will pay a lot of money. What I offer is a simple and cost effective way to get to the real point….preserving and sharing your memories.

I transfer all other video and still image formats at the highest possible quality.  VHS, mini-VHS, hi8, miniDV…..
